Short Biography
Received his Bachelor's biomedical degree (2004 - 2008), Master's degree (2008 - 2009), and PhD in Chemical Biology (2009 - 2013) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Post-doc appointments in Structural Biology as Junior researcher at the Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie, Germany (2016) sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and as Assistant researcher at the University of Virginia, United States (2017 - 2019) sponsored by the Pew Charitable Trusts. In 2017 he was appointed faculty at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
